WELCOME TO 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR!

Benzy David is the Owner/ Director of Childsplace Learning Centre. She is all excited for a great new start to the school year, and happy to be part of this environment. She has graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and has also taught 3 yrs as a Preschool teacher in elementary school in Dubai U.A.E. Her qualifications and experience complement the responsibilities she has with Childsplace. She also brings a solid background in management, as she has been a Program Director in a nursery.

Ms Tammy is our Program Director/Preschool Teacher who has an Early Learning and Childhood diploma and 16 yrs of working experience at Mount Royal College. She has a very positive, high energy personality and also has a great deal of background in developing programs based on a child's needs, interests and abilities. Her dedication for children, combined with her passion to make a difference in their lives makes this opportunity a very exiting one. She has her valid first aid and police clearance check.

Miss Jennifer is one of our preschool teachers she has her ELCC certificate and over 5 years experience with children of all ages. She has an up beat and energetic personality. Jennifers favorite part of working with children is seeing how excited they get when they learn a new song or spelling of their name for the first time. Jennifers upbeat personality brings in new songs, dancing and just a fun way to learn through play. Jennifer is on her second year with us and excited for many more years to come. She has her valid first aid and police check.

STAFF QUALIFICATIONS

All staff at Childsplace Learning Centre Ltd. are hired with respect to their Early Childhood Education, and their experience. An important factor of their personality is the ability to interact well with parents, other staff and the children. Flexibility is important in teaching young children, and resilience is required! It is necessary for all staff to respect and relate well to the children, and maintain a positive atmosphere and attitude. When hiring new staff, all of these factors are considered, and our dedication is to hire the best candidates to fill these requirements. All staff holds valid First Aid and CPR Certification, and all are subject to a Calgary Police Services Security Clearance.
